To verify participation in a qualifying program, provide either a benefit award letter, approval letter, statement of benefits, benefit verification letter, or school documentation that must include:
Individuals may qualify for Lifeline if they are enrolled in any of the following public assistance programs:
- Medi-Cal
- CalFresh
- CalWORKs or Tribal TANF
- Supplement Security Income (SSI)
- Federal Public Housing Assistance or Section 8
- Women, Infants and Children Program (WIC)
- National School Lunch Program (NSL)
- Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)
